Retreats

Yoga retreats provide a space to immerse yourself in transformative experiences, self-discovery, and community. These gatherings offer time for deepening your practice, exploring new perspectives, and connecting with others in a nurturing environment.

Inner Reset

a yoga, hiking, & sound healing retreat

At Indigo Nature Retreat in Black Mountain, NC
March 19th - 23rd, 2025

Retreat to the forest and align with nature’s rhythm, cultivate connection, and emerge refreshed and inspired.

Yoga

Start each morning with a luxuriously long practice of vinyasa, breath, and stillness, leaving ample time to drop into your flow state and start your day connecting deeply with your own inner guide. As always, you’ll be invited to take rest when you need, and do what is best for your body.  Late afternoon & evening practices will be slow, restorative and relaxing to process all that you are cultivating.

Hiking in Pisgah National Forest

Indigo Nature Retreat is located in the middle nature’s playground. From misty mountains, waterfalls, glorious lush forests, there is so much to explore. There will be two group hikes planned. Each hike will be chosen closer to the date of the retreat based on weather conditions. Potential hikes include Catabwa Falls, Montreat Rainbow Road, Lookout Mountain and of course the local trails at Indigo. Trail shoes or hiking boots are required, for your safety and comfort.

Meditation & Sound

There will be multiple opportunities to participate in yoga nidra and sound healing sessions throughout the weekend. This form of self-care uses sound waves to relax the body and bring it into a parasympathetic state. The harmonious frequencies produced by different instruments help clear energetic blocks and promote flow and harmony within your mind, body, and soul.

Private Chef Dining

We have invited a special private chef, who will be preparing for us 3 dinners. Expect everything to be beautifully plated, locally sourced, and of course incredibly delicious. Breakfasts will be light and include fresh pressed juice and coffee for you at all times. Please inform us of any restrictions or sensitivities prior.

REtreat Facilitators

I am so excited for you to meet Kristin Richmond! She was one of the first people I met after moving to NC and we instantly connected. Her experience in yoga shines even brighter because of her welcoming and uplifting energy. When the opportunity presented itself to co-facilitate this retreat with her, it was an instant YES!

Meet Kristin Richmond, RYT500

Kristin guides yoga and breathwork for all levels of experience with a unique blend of intuition, playful spirit, and deep reverence for Yoga’s teachings. A lifelong seeker, her personal practice and self-study easily became her most trusted tool for radical self-acceptance and embodiment. She dove into her first 200 hour yoga immersion in 2015 and has been teaching and learning ever since. Now having attained both E-RYT200 and 500-hour certifications, her love for Yoga as a way of life has led to a beautiful life of service and studentship, teaching her to slow down and expand her awareness of the present moment. Her classes always invite space for grounding, softening, and exploring, and her favorite thing about this work is getting to watch her students uncover layers beyond the physical as they weave mindfulness into their everyday lives. For this gift, she’s grateful to all her teachers — both on and off the mat!
